Letter 290 – Think Beyond

When we are born, it is forever…So, our life on earth is only the beginning. Tomorrow, as we continue our journey into life, will bethe next step forward into eternity.

“ Where as you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away”.                                                                    JAMES 4:14 NKJV

Earthly life is so short. When viewed from eternity, Life on earth is but a flickering light. Soon, the Lord will return to receive His Christian Believers. Time is about to advance into the next age. Thefuture ahead of us is our Present Hope.

Think ahead into eternity. Once we are raptured, we will be Jesus’ heirs and help Him to rule and reign. If we consider this line of thinking, our life becomes easier.

If you died today, where would you go? You have one of two choices to make. Accept Jesus into your life and be with Jesus in Heaven, or choose the Devil and live in Hell.

Letter 289 – BELIEVE IN CHRIST’S MIRACLES

I would like to share a miracle that just happened in my life.

 

A few days ago, my daughter had a severe Stroke.

 

The type of Stroke that she had normally requires an oxygen tube in her throat to breath, and an opening in her head to relieve pressure on her brain. By a miracle, she did not need either one..

 

Her attending Doctor was absolutely amazed, even shocked. He had NEVER seen such a speedy recovery process from this type of stroke. This beat all textbook cases by showing that miracles are possible. He also said that she will make a full recovery.

 

I know that Christ preformed many healings in His day, and I hear of healings today; but I have never seen a miracle so near to me before. Now I know that By His Stripes and PRAYER my daughter was healed. This brings me even closer to Christ.

 

As I reflect on this, I know that Christ loves us more than we can imagine. If we have Faith, I know that Christ provides for our needs.

Letter 288 – I Hope You Find Some Solace From This

After sharing with you ten years of letters, I would like to share some things about the man who wrote them.

I have lived a long life…I recently stepped through 90 years of life on earth. There have been ups and downs; but, more ups than downs because of my positive outlook on life. I believe that…If you can imagine it, you can do it.

When I was 6 years old back in 1935, I went on an Airplane ride in a Ford Tri Motor (built between 1925 and 1933) to see my home town. After that flight, I decided that I wanted to make flying my life. As it turned out, flying professionally was the only job I ever had. I have traveled and seen the world many times. I tell you all of this so that you can see the reservoir of experience I had in writing these letters.

For those of you at a younger age, you cannot imagine my later years in life. I know what it is to be young, but you don’t know what it is to be old. As I reached 90 years, I reflected on the good memories that I experienced in my life and would not trade them for anything. I am looking forward to the day when the Lord will call us up to be with Him. I will continue to write these letters until that time.
