Letter 298 – DO YOU…TIC-TOC—TIC-TOC—TIC-TOC?

As the pendulum swings—Tic-Toc—Tic-Toc—Tic-Toc…One step at a time… We need to shore up our firm walk with the Lord through our Faith and Belief to keep us going…And to maintain our strength…As we live out our time on this Old Earth.

 

God created us and we belong to Him. He issues each one of us a calling to be a soldier of His army. Our mission is to live our life to Glorify Him…In this mission, we will face many hardships and suffer as we serve Him. We have to be ready to give Him our all.

 

We have to remember this. Through all of our endeavors, we are not alone. God is with us all the way, and He never leads us into areas without His Presence.

 

As this Old Earth nears retirement, those of us who are Christians, should imagine what’s ahead and live our life according to His will.

Letter 296 – Heaven: Our Final Destination

HEAVEN, OUR FINAL DESTINATION…

 

Heaven is a physical place, and it will be our future home forever. In time, it will be located on the New Earth. The New Earth will have magnificent mountains higher than the Himalayas. The forest will be deeper and richer than anything we’ve ever seen. The lakes and rivers will be beautiful beyond imagination.

 

We will have strong bodies that will be perfect. All of our senses will function at levels we’ve never known. We will have sharp minds and see and know as never before. There will be no more sorrow or crying…No more pain. We will have only joy.

 

We will keep our earthly names and will look the same as we were in our mid thirties. We will recognize and be recognized. We will talk to people we knew in our lifetime, and talk to those from the past such as Moses or any others from the Bible. We will also be living in the presence of God and be His People. Think and imagine about the times to come.

 

BE HEAVENLY MINDED

Letter 291 – Do You Have Patience?

Patience…

 

“5:7…Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. 5:8…You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.                                                             JAMES 5: 7&8 NKJV

 

Instead of being in a hurry to do something as is sometimes the case, we should slow down and take the time to get the job done right. When we rush, we make mistakes and have to redo things again. We will accomplish more by going slower and avoiding wasted time. This requires patience.

 

The Lord has eternal patience with us. We should have patience with Him. Whatever He does for us is for our own good. Upon reflection, we can see that His works shows us the way to walk in His Light. We can see how much He loves us and that He died for us because of this love.

Letter 290 – Think Beyond

When we are born, it is forever…So, our life on earth is only the beginning. Tomorrow, as we continue our journey into life, will bethe next step forward into eternity.

“ Where as you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away”.                                                                    JAMES 4:14 NKJV

Earthly life is so short. When viewed from eternity, Life on earth is but a flickering light. Soon, the Lord will return to receive His Christian Believers. Time is about to advance into the next age. Thefuture ahead of us is our Present Hope.

Think ahead into eternity. Once we are raptured, we will be Jesus’ heirs and help Him to rule and reign. If we consider this line of thinking, our life becomes easier.

If you died today, where would you go? You have one of two choices to make. Accept Jesus into your life and be with Jesus in Heaven, or choose the Devil and live in Hell.

Letter 279 – Your Guardian Angel

“11 For He orders His angels to protect you wherever you go. 12 They will steady you with their hands to keep you from stumbling against the rocks on the trail.”

Psalms 91: 11-12. The Living Bible

 

We each have a Guardian Angel who is our Angel at birth and is with us throughout eternity…He strives to keep us from stumbling over the rocks on the trail. He is always with us wherever we walk.

 

There are times when we see our Angel, who looks like a normal person, but we do not realize it is him. If we see the same stranger at different times and places, you may have seen your Angel.

 

One day, after we are glorified, we will be able to talk to him, and he will share with us our life on earth. Some of our conversation will include those times when we misplace something or lost something and he showed us where it was. You may wonder about this…It is real. I have experienced it. Knowing and believing this will give you a peace that will sustain you throughout life.

Letter 278 – Heaven! (Continued)

HEAVEN! (Continued)

– My Personal Bible Beliefs-

 

What will life be like in Heaven?

 

1-We will physically appear as we were on earth and our functions will be as they were such as seeing, hearing, tasting, touching and eating.

 

2-We will enjoy music, dancing, storytelling, art, entertainment, reading books.

 

3-We will walk and run as we have always done. We will travel to lakes and fish, see forest, and climb distant mountains.

 

4-We will travel to distant places in the blink of the eye and explore the universe.

 

5-We will help God to continue creation throughout eternity.

 

There is so much more that Heaven will offer. We will be co-heirs with Christ and we will rule and reign with Him. We can’t imagine all that we will experience in Heaven while here on earth; however, when we are glorified into the next age, we will personally witness Gods Glory.

Letter 277 – Heaven!

HEAVEN!

As Christians, our final destination will be Heaven, which will be our eternal Home. Most folks don’t have any knowledge about Heaven. Before going Home, we should seek to know more about Heaven.

First, you should know that Heaven is a physical real place. It is a place where you will feel at home. It is huge measuring 1500 miles long by 1500 miles wide by 1500 miles high and millions and millions of redeemed saints will live there and we will live forever with Jesus Christ our Lord.

We will keep our names. We will recognize people we knew and we will be able to talk with them about the past and the future. Plus, we will be able to visit with people from the Biblical past like…Abraham, Moses, or anyone else.

In some ways, our life will be as we have known on earth, except that…there will be continuous new Heavenly experiences and most of all, there will be no more deaths, no more tears, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain, and our bodies will be perfect and we will be young forever.

Letter From an Old Geezer: September 11, 2018 – WE ARE CREATED TO BE FOREVER. BE CAREFUL IN CHOOSING YOUR FINAL DESTINATION.

Regardless of how we believe, we should accept the fact that we are God’s creation. As God’s creation, our birth is just the beginning of our journey into eternity.

 

We begin our life clothed in God’s complete innocence, and as we progress from crawling, to walking, and then to running, we lose the robe of innocence and enter into the age of accountability. Somewhere along the way, we will realize that there is only one final question we have to answer in life: Do we want to go to Heaven or Hell?

 

This question has to be answered by making one of two choices: Choose God and Heaven and a life of eternal peace, or follow Satan into Hell and abandon all hope forever. When you weigh these two choices, the answer should be obvious. Remember, your eternal life hangs in the balance.

 

It is very important to remember that we can still make this choice as long as we have breath on this earth. Don’t linger too long because time is short. Once we depart from this earth our last and final decision can’t be changed, and it is forever. There is no turning back.

Letter From an Old Geezer: August 24, 2018 – THIS ISN’T GOODBYE, BUT UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN

Open Letter To Fellow Christians,

Here are some thoughts that we don’t often visit. Some of us folks find that our bodies are getting older and wearing out as earthly longevity catches up with us. Upon reflection, we realize that our departure for the next age is approaching.

 

For those who don’t dwell on these thoughts, remember that a sudden catastrophic accident could end anyone’s life, young or old. Whichever happens, as Christians, it is a win-win situation. Here on earth, we are with The Lord in Spirit, and when we move on, we will be in the presence of the Lord in Heaven.

 

When a Christian we know and love leaves us, we are sure of where they are going and with whom they will be. Even though their departure is of a great loss to us, it is also a time for rejoicing, for they will be in Heaven. We, who remain, will later rejoin those who have departed ahead of us and we will spend eternity with them.

Letter 255 – WILL YOU HAVE PRIVILEGES IN GOD’S KINGDOM?

“And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.” John 10:28

 

We are saved when we receive Jesus Christ into our lives. Our salvation takes place at one moment in time, yet it seals the believer for all time. Once we are saved, our Salvation is forever.

 

God’s unconditional love for us is eternal. Because of His Love, God accepts us the way we are, but refuses to leave us there.

 

When we are Glorified, our privileges in the Kingdom of God are determined by our faithfulness in this life. It matters tremendously how we live our lives here and now, because the way we live our lives today will have eternal and unchangeable consequences in the next life with Christ.

 

What we do after we have been born again drastically effects our rank, role, place, status, and our authority in God’s coming Kingdom. Our rank in His future Kingdom is being decided each and every day of our lives.
